We are equipped to appraise fine art, rare books, and all manner of personal property, for common purposes including insurance, estate tax, equitable distribution, charitable contribution, and liquidation. Our clients over the last decade have included numerous estates, collectors, dealers, museums, libraries, and non-profit organizations across the country.

Our appraisal staff at Worth Auctions is captained by a Certified Member of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA): the highest level of membership in the premier national organization of personal property appraisers. We are the only auction company in the Finger Lakes region with an AAA appraiser on staff.

AAA members and their direct reports are required to be trained in and comply with the latest version of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), the IRS-promulgated industry standard that is increasingly required by both public and private clients.

Our appraisals are always impartial and independent of our other services. Our compensation is based on a flat rate (one hour minimum) plus travel expenses as required.
